Bollywood Ka Badshah " Shahrukh khan" is not acting in Dhoom 3. Earlier there was a buzz that SRK has been roped in for the third part but SRK has cleared the air saying that he is not doing Dhoom 3,and all the news about Dhoom 3 is just a rumour. The actor who is down because of shoulder injury will not be able to do any movies involving great stunt sequences.

Indian students protest in Australia against racism

Indian Students who are in Australia showed their concern to their friends and organized a protest rally against racism in Melbourne.The Indian students are continuously being harassed by the Australians and some of them are even brutally beaten up.

Sixth Pay Commission for State Government Employees-G.O.

Hi Friends - Great News for Government Employees and Pensioners. The State Government of Tamil Nadu announced 6th Pay commission to their employees. It will benefit 12 lakh employees and 6 lakh pensioners. Tamil Nadu Government employees monthly salary will be raised upto 30%. Pensioners will get 40% increase in their Basic Pension. House Rent Allowance and City Compensatory Allowance will be doubled with effect from 1.6.2009. Arrears will be given in three instalments after deducting the interim relief given in January 2009. The I arrears will be given in 30th June. DCRG ceiling raised from 3.5 lakhs to 10 lakhs.

New scales of pay announced for Superintendents, Assistant Sections Officers, Section Officers.

New Pay scales fixation with effect from January 2006 and Arrears will be given from January 2007.

The same was the case with this shy boy. After which Mounam Pesiyadhe gave him another break. The biggest break was Khakha Khakha directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon. He enacted the role of an encounter specialist which wasn’t portrayed by anyone in Tamil cinema till then. He made heads turn with his great physique and his excellent on-screen chemistry with Jyothika. Followed by Pithamagan again directed by his mentor Bala, shared the screen space with his friend actor Vikram. This film won him the award for the best supporting actor because of his amazing sense of humor mixed with body language and witty comments. And performing the role of a student leader in Aayutha Ezhuthu made a revolution among the youth. The movie definitely had a very good social message. Ghajini with Murugadas won him the best actor award for that year. This was the film which inspired Aamir Khan to remake it in Hindi which was again a Blockbuster. The recent movie Varanam Aayiram which made him one of the most versatile actors in the Industry has got rave reviews. He made the girls go gaga over his body by showing his six-packs in this movie, and the latest movie Ayan has been breaking records with its collections.

Surya’s career graph has been slow but steady. Surya who is happily married to Jyothika considers Kamal Hassan as his inspiration and has been following his footsteps. He tries to play different roles in each and every movie. He does not stick to stereotype roles. The star couples have a daughter Diya who has been grabbing more attention than them. They also run an organization named ‘Agaram Foundations’ with the intent to abolish ill-literacy and to make sure that every kid gets proper education.

This actor ‘Surya’ as named by his mentor director Vasanth has definitely lived up to the expectations of his dad who is a veteran actor. Tyson's daughter dies due to Treadmill accident

Sarah Jane Gets Her Doctor

The third series of the Sarah Jane Adventures, to air on the BBC Autumn 09, will feature the return of fan favourites, robot dog K9 and also David Tennant as the 10th Doctor the BBC has confirmed today.

K9 will appear in a reoccurring role across the 12 part series, while Tennant's Doctor will have a starring role along side the regulars in episodes 5 and 6. David Tennant's appearance will be prior his final three Doctor Who episodes, The Waters of Mars (thought to be due November) and two as yet un-named specials possibly Christmas day and New Years day.

If Daphne up in Leeds can blog about drystone walls then so can I. Actually, I first wrote admiringly about them just over a year ago. The pictures above and below this paragraph were snapped by yours truly on Blacka Moor just south of Sheffield. Here the wall builders of long ago used millstone grit and hard sandstone from the local area. That's how our country's precious network of drystone walls was created - using locally sourced stone. Hence in the Cotswolds the walls are honey-coloured whereas in the White Peak of Derbyshire ash-white limestone was used. Many is the time I have stood in awed silence, admiring long dead wallbuilders' craftsmanship - the way the stones fit so snugly and naturally together even though every single stone used is slightly different from the next. And I love the way, nature embellishes the rustic beauty of these walls - lichens and ferns and creeping plants. They are lovely to behold.

On a recent walk by Blacka Moor, I noticed how a wealthy farmer has had more than fifty yards of brand new drystone walling created at the side of the public right of way. It looks great and must have cost him a pretty penny to have built. Historically, farmers and their hired labourers would simply and patiently create their own walls. That happened quite literally through a thousand years and more of English history. Nowadays it's more likely you'll find a drystone waller in the yellow pages, phone him up and get a hefty estimate when he turns up in his Land Rover.

It was May 24th, 2008 - a year ago. Pathetic as this might seem to non-football supporters, it was one of the happiest days of my life - alongside our wedding day, the days on which our children were born, being selected for Hull schoolboys rugby team, seeing Jimi Hendrix live at The Isle of Wight Festival. Yes it was so happy, Hull City's victory in the Championship play off final to join the top flight of English football for the very first time. It was a day I had often dreamt of but never believed would happen and a day when I discovered the meaning of "tears of joy". They were streaming down my cheeks.

So a year has passed. The Tigers began their Premiership adventure so brilliantly, gaining unexpected victories at Arsenal, Newcastle and Tottenham. We drew at Chelsea and Liverpool and lost narrowly to Manchester United in a seven goal thriller. Okay there were bad days at the office - the heavy defeats to Wigan and Manchester City spring to mind - but our lads got up, dusted themselves down and came back fighting against the odds.

Since Christmas we have been in freefall, lady luck deserting us almost entirely. There were games when you shook your head in sheer disbelief wondering how on earth we had again failed to win a point or three. So it all boiled down to the last games of the season. We were playing Manchester United's reserve team and Newcastle were at Aston Villa. This was "Survival Sunday". Rocking like an in-patient in an asylum and muttering "Oh God" over and over I watched in agony as we again managed to go down to an undeserved one-nil home defeat thanks to a superstrike from United's Darron Gibson.

Over in Birmingham, Newcastle's Damien Duff cleverly deflected a long range Villa shot into his own net. Middlesborough didn't manage a miracle at West Ham so they go down with Newcastle and The Tigers live to fight another day. Another season in The Premiership! Amazing! I wouldn't say I was happy yesterday - just mightily relieved and Lord knows our management team will have to pull out all the stops to strengthen the squad this summer. Getting rid of some fringe players would also help. 2008-2009 has been a fantastic roller coaster ride of ups and downs, highs and lows. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. You might say that there are more important things in life than football but I might disagree.

Watt's Wrong?

Yesterday's Mail On Sunday carried the following piece. Apparently those crazy guys running the European Union have decided that from next year all light bulbs on sale should no longer be labelled in Watts but in Lumen's instead.

They claim this will make things easier for us consumers to understand. Hello? We already understand that a 60W bulb will burn brighter than say a 40W one. Now that 60W bulb will be labelled 800Lm. This move will just confuse the public.

The Watt is an internationally agreed SI unit (System International) of power measurement. OK with my professional hat on, I know that the Watt is basically the measure of power consumed and the Lumen directly relates to light output levels but that doesn't matter; the public perception is that light bulbs are rated in Watts, which we all understand.

Perhaps the issue really is that James Watt was British and Lumen comes from France or Germany and we all know Europe is run by those two countries...

Green Fingers? Only From The Glaze

Having been wowed by Teresa's horticultural prowess here and here I thought I would follow by posting my own efforts.

This is my potted Walnut tree. It's a few years old now. As you can see it's not quite got the hang of sprouting new leaves, although if you look very closely you might- at a pinch- see the first signs. I mean come on: it is late May, something should be happening by now!

So by means of making up (LOL), I've just uploaded some new images of my pottery work over on Webshots. Take a look, let me know what you think.

Sources said that Ajith feels his 50th film should be a family oriented story with action, comedy, romance and family sentiments. So directors are approaching Ajith with these kind of stories. Let us wait and see who convinces Ajith with a all these combo together in one pack.
