Sixth Pay Commission for State Government Employees-G.O.

Hi Friends - Great News for Government Employees and Pensioners. The State Government of Tamil Nadu announced 6th Pay commission to their employees. It will benefit 12 lakh employees and 6 lakh pensioners. Tamil Nadu Government employees monthly salary will be raised upto 30%. Pensioners will get 40% increase in their Basic Pension. House Rent Allowance and City Compensatory Allowance will be doubled with effect from 1.6.2009. Arrears will be given in three instalments after deducting the interim relief given in January 2009. The I arrears will be given in 30th June. DCRG ceiling raised from 3.5 lakhs to 10 lakhs.

New scales of pay announced for Superintendents, Assistant Sections Officers, Section Officers.

New Pay scales fixation with effect from January 2006 and Arrears will be given from January 2007.
