Orkut the social networking site is very famous world wide.This is site is run by Google and named after its creator Orkut Buyukkokten a Turkish Software Engineer and he is an Employee of Google.Brasil is the number one users of orkut and nearly 23 million people have registered in Brazil alone.India comes second..Initially Orkut was started mainly to target US users.Now Orkut rules the SOcial Networking sites though Facebook is fast catching up.
People India prefer Orkut to Facebook.India is in 7th rank in the number of people visiting social networking sites.
