CLEVELAND -- LeBron James scored 33 points, Anderson Varejao added a season-high 22, and the Cleveland Cavaliers rebounded from consecutive sloppy road losses with a 104-99 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.
James added seven assists, seven rebounds and a soaring block on a shot by Brandon Roy in the closing seconds for the Cavs, who were back home after losing in Memphis and Houston.

NOTEBOOK: The Ice Edge Holdings investment group has signed a letter of intent to purchase the Phoenix Coyotes from the NHL with a long-term commitment to keep the team in Arizona. Ice Edge chief executive officer Anthony LeBlanc said "Ice Edge has committed to keep the Coyotes in Glendale, Ariz., for the remaining term of the original lease." There are 26 years left on the Coyotes' lease to play at Jobing.com Arena.
