The beauty queen and Action King Akshay Kumar got the Padma Shri awards for there services in the film industry which comes under the art category.They received the awards from President Prathiba Patel in Ashoka Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan.Along with 62 people got the awards for achievements in various fields.
This is another feather in Aishwarya Rai's cap.From Bachan's family this is the 5th award they are getting.Only Abishek Bachan is yet to get a award.May be very soon he will get one.
