Shooting of David Dhawan’s film Hook Yaa Crook was going on in which John Abraham plays a prisoner. The scene was that John had to win the match for his team so that they would be released from the prison. While shooting a cricket sequence at the BPCL grounds John was facing Indian bowler Laxmipathy Balaji.Balaji bowled a yorker at 130 km/hr which landed straight on John Abraham 's toe.
The damage was so high that John screamed in pain.After some time John insisted to continue the shooting.But later when they consulted the doctor he confirmed that John had fractured his toe and asked him to rest in bed for two weeks.
