London 2012 Tickets!

The 2012 Olympic organising committee has announced the ticket prices for all events at London 2012.

In a report by BBC News it is said that 90% of tickets would be £100 or less, two-thirds less than £50 and 2.5 million tickets £20 or less.


Tickets for the gymnastics start at a very reasonable £20. The event is at the O2 arena (formally the Millennium Dome and for the duration of the games to be called the North Greenwich Arena). This was the site of the 2009 Worlds and will also be the site of the final qualifying event in early 2012. From my experience it's a great arena with not a bad viewpoint, although the cheaper seats are VERY high up!
