Russia sits atop the pile with only the USA of the major team medal contenders still to go. Mustafina and Nabieva both succeeded in getting their names in the code of points by submitting new skills on bars (Mustafina - double back with 1 1/2 twist. Nabieva - Toe on Layout Tcatchev)
Success did not come without a few falls though- notably Ksenia Semenova, who managed to crash out twice on her floor routine.

GB performed well overall. Beth Tweddle rocked bars and is currently sitting in 3rd for the event final between He Kexin and Huang Quishan of China. Floor was not disaster but a deep landing on her final tumble and several smaller deductions mean that she will not make floor finals this time around.
