Liverpool's Rebecca Tunney won the junior ladies all-around title at the English championships today. Tunney, who competed for the GB team at the Junior Europeans in Birmingham last year is still not age eligible for senior competition this year but is making a strong case to be a 4th Liverpool gymnast on the team for London 2012 (she trains alongside Beth Tweddle, Hannah Whelan and Jennifer Pinches). Her strong overall score of 53.850 was well ahead of the field, aided by an impressive 14.100 on vault.
