Rockne Brubaker has been to 4 Continents Championships before, but not with his new partner Mary Beth Marley. The pair who teamed up last summer and finished fourth at the recent US Nationals have been given a ticket to Chinese Taipei after olympians Caydee Denney & Jeremy Barrett have been forced to withdraw due to an injury to Barrett. This will be Marley/Brubakers first major international together (They entered a minor event in Poland and beat the only other pair competing). The US has only 2 pair spots for Worlds so it is unlikely the pair will also go to Tokyo as Denney & Barrett were ranked third.
