Japan, USA lead the ladies.
Miki Ando took a 3 point lead in the ladies short programme in Taipei (Jumps 3Lz-2Lo, 2A and 3Lo). The rejuvinated Mao Asada is close behind. Despite under-rotating her triple axel, she also landed a 3Lo and 3F2Lo. They are followed by a trio of americans, led by Rachael Flatt. Perhaps Mirai Nagasu will do better in the free skate without the pressure of being in first.
